Merry Christmas! I hope you are all enjoying your Christmas with family or friends. We picked up my parents last night at the airport and enjoyed an evening of coffee, cookies, and chatting. Today we have big plans for eating yummy food, watching a Christmas movie or two, and hopefully going on a walk.
****I interrupt this post for a breakfast break.......cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole!****
Ok, I'm back. I'll keep this short since I want to get back to watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas! My nativity is usually the first thing I set up for Christmas. We registered for most of our nativity pieces for our wedding and then I received one new piece every year for Christmas until I had most of the collection. I would love another star set to put on the other side of nativity...maybe someday.
Here are some pictures of other random decorations around the house
This little arrangement is in honor of my grandparents. Nativity from Grandpa, Christmas cactus I started from Grandma's huge Christmas cactus, and their wedding picture!
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Til' next time,
I'm right here at your house, getting to enjoy the beautiful decorations and a houseful of cookies, buffalo chicken dip, scrumptious breakfast, doors open with fresh air to breathe in, and the Spirit of Christmas all around - family is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty decorations! Isn't it sad to take them down so soon!???
