Weekends are wonderful

Brenden left on Thursday night for a "week with the boys adventure". He went to Troy, KS to stay at a friends house. They will be riding horses, shooting guns, golfing, and who knows what other kinds of boy things they will do. I have enjoyed having the house to myself to catch up on some things such as scrapbooking and laundry(yuck!).

On Saturday I traveled to Ellinwood, KS to visit my parents and grandparents. I always love visiting them, it is so relaxing and fun! We enjoyed an outing to Great Bend to eat lunch together.

Once I returned home on Saturday night I drove to Manhattan to meet some friends for the remainder of my weekend. I always love visiting friends, it is so refreshing. One of them is blessed with a their first baby girl, so it was a joy getting to be around a newborn!
