Summer has began!

Well summer is officially here! Brenden has completed his junior year of college and is now working full time with the National Guard for a few weeks. After he is done doing that he will hopefully get a job at Game Stop or Target. I am hoping for Target so I can get a discount! We cant believe how fast his college years have gone. It seems like yesterday we were moving away for Manhattan, our home of 6 years (we were both sad to leave). We have now lived in Salina for 3 years and it does not seem possible! Brenden should only have 3 semesters left till he is completely done with his degree. We are starting to dream of where we may end up at that point!

As for me I am still loving my job and very busy working on Relay for Life things. It is just a little over a month away and I have a lot to do to get ready! Besides my responsibilities of being on the Relay for Life committee, I am also the team captain for the Relay team at work. One of our fundraisers was to sell Tie-dyed t-shirts with our Sunflower Insurance Group Logo and Relay for Life Logo. We made this the focus of our campsite them, which we finally finalized today! Our team theme is "Getting Groovy for a Cure" We have more plans surrounding this theme, but I don't want to give it all away yet! I will be sharing more in the weeks to come.
