A Little Bit Of This And That

Where has the last few months gone? Time is just flying by! Wondering what we have been up to? If so, read on and see some pics of our activities! Thanksgiving weekend we moved to a new place. Thank you mom & dad for all your help, we could not have done it without you! We are living in a basement of a house. The lady that owns the house lives upstairs. It is alot bigger then our previous house, so we do not feel so cramped. We are in a much better neighborhood, so I dont feel like I have to sleep with a gun under my pillow at night! I did not realize how much we worried about that till we didnt have that worry any longer...wow!

I was able to spend a few hours with my best friends and roomates from college to celebrate Christmas. They met me after work one evening in Salina to eat at the famous Bogey's

For Christmas we flew to Washington to visit Brenden's family. It was a fun and relaxing trip. Here are some pics of our trip.

We made it in time to welcome our newest newphew, Joey Jr. We had to break the rules
to meet  & hold him. He was precious!

Grandma Bonnie and Daddy Joey.  Bonnie was on cloud nine for days!

See the love-Grandma, Daddy, and Uncle.

Grandpa Gary

Playing Rummikube, we played this at least 20 times while we were there!

In January Brenden needed to do some things in Leavenworth, KS so we decided to make it a weekend getaway. We stayed in a great B&B--Prairie Queen. Bob and Jan were great hosts and the food was wonderful.  The shower in our private bath was the original, as you can see below.  Now, I would have loved the multi-fauceted shower if I was taller, but the top rail where water shoots out hit me right at eye level!

We also had the a bath in our private bath.  It was super long, so long in fact that Brenden was able to fit comfortably.  See.....

These are just a few things we done in the past few months. We are looking forward to what the next year has in store for us, we are excited to see where it leads us!  Hope all of you had a marvelous Christmas and your New Year is going wonderful.
