Good evening friends & family. Tonight's post is going to be quick because I am in the middle of some projects that I need to finish up so our living room does not look like a tornado hit!
Keeper of the Home is hosting a menu plan challenge in a few weeks and I'm excited to participate. Check out the challenge here. I encourage you to take the challenge also, even if you dont have a blog. Menu planning is the only thing that saves our budget from eating out. It takes the guess work out of making lunch and dinner.
Here is what we are having this week.
Sunday
lunch: Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese. We tried Amy's Organic Tomato Soup. I thought it tasted a lot like my homemade version but B just cant handle any brand except Campbell's Tomato Soup.
dinner: Bacon Ranch Chicken. Sweet Potatoes
Monday
lunch: Leftovers
dinner: Grilled Polish Sausages. Garlic Mashed Tators.
Tuesday
lunch: On our own, probably leftovers.
dinner: Corn Chowder
Wednesday
lunch: leftovers
dinner: Homemade Pizza
Thursday
lunch: leftovers
dinner: Healthy Sloppy Joes
Friday
lunch: leftovers
dinner: Homemade Hamburger Helper. One note for this recipe is that I do not use dry milk, this is definitely not the healthy way to drink milk. Instead I just use whole milk.
Saturday
lunch: leftovers
dinner: Chicken Taco Bowls
Sunday
lunch: Waffles, Bacon, and Eggs
dinner: Taco Salad
What are you eating this week? Do you menu plan?
I'm linking up with I'm an Organizing Junkie for Menu Plan Monday.
Til' next time,
I have a wonderful notepad that a friend gave me that has the days of the week to plan the menu on one side and a grocery list on the other. I know that when I actively use it, then I am definitely less likely to eat out!
