I started the Arbonne 30 day "Get Fit/Cleanse" program June 4. Today is day 20, so over half way there! I was skeptical about it working because I don't really feel that one should rely on "supplements" for weight loss. But this program is totally different and I have had GREAT results already. So excited that I decided to say NO to my food cravings and cant wait to show you the results when I am finished.
The program focuses on eating real/whole foods along with NO gluten, sugar, dairy, soy, caffeine, alcohol, and a few other random restrictions. I will give a detailed recap on my 30 days once I am finished.
I have been working out consistently and enjoying it most of the time. Everyone always has those bad days. I'm still spinning, running, doing yoga, and weightlifting. I have thrown in a few Zumba classes along the way which is just fun and is a good, moderate workout for me. When I do my 30 day recap I will include photos (if I am brave enough!) so you can see the huge difference 30 days of eating right and exercising makes.
I'm curently looking for a good GPS watch that includes a heart rate monitor. This will be my next big "fitness" purchase. Do you have any recommendations on a good GPS watch? Please give me your suggestions if you have used one that you like. I have heard good things about Garmin watches (B currently has one), but they are so big!
What have you been doing lately for your health and fitness?
I'm linking up with Jill from Fitness, Health, and Happiness for Fitness Friday.
This coming week look for posts on my garden, uses for cocunut oil and a GIVEAWAY, handmade scrubs, and more!
Til' next time,
Glad to hear you're doing well! Yes- I LOVE my Garmin- I have the Forerunner (I think it's the 210?), which is a little smaller but still includes a heart rate monitor.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to Fitness Friday :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read about your Get Fit/Cleanes recap! I love my Garmin. It's one of the smaller models compared to my first one which was square and ginormous!

Proud of you Andrea for your will-power! Way to go and keep it up! Enjoyed your post....post again soon :)
ReplyDeleteThat second sentence was the inspiration I needed. When my alarm went off at 5:30 this morning, I convinced myself to skip a pre-dawn run in the humidity. And now, I feel so guilty! I'm going to keep you in mind when my alarm goes off tomorrow morning, and get myself out there!!
ReplyDeleteI've had my Garmin watch for yearrrrs and still love it. I've even tried using my phone's running app (Run Keeper) to keep track of distance for me, and I still keep going back to my Garmin. Huge fan. You get used to the size, I promise :)
