How was your 4th of July?

Well, I actually managed to get a flag flying at our house by mid afternoon yesterday.

Our day was relaxing, getting things done around the house. For dinner we went to a BBQ at a friends house. We had a great time being entertained by their almost 2 year old, she is a cutie! After we ate we spent 3 hours playing Scene It on X-box. It was fun, but I LOST big time! We played the Movie addition. I know I would come in 1st place if we had played the Friends Scene It Additions, considering we own all 10 seasons of that show and watch it all the time!

What did everyone else do for the 4th of July?

  1. Andrea, your flag looks great! Happy 4th! God Bless our Nation. Let freedom ring. We went to Tablerock Lake for the Fourth of July. We left about 9:30am on Friday and headed towards the Ozarks. We shopped at BASS PRO SHOP - which of course we never miss stopping at even if it's a little out of the way :) Then we headed to Branson West (the closest motel we could find), checked into the motel and then headed to Shell Knob, MO on Tablerock Lake. We visited with Kent, Cale and Tanner, Kent's Mom, Kent's friend Kathy and her children. We traveled with at least a thousand other boats out to the cove area where we could view the fireworks. It was a great show and all sitting out among all of those boats was fun to see. Soooo, that's what we did on the Fourth.
    Love you, MOM
