It has been awhile since I have done a menu plan Monday, mainly because we have been eating horrible lately. It is time for us to get back to a healthy lifestyle of good, nutritious food! Since my 2nd miscarriage our healthy eating habits have become non-existent. Thinking about it recently I truly believe I reverted back to bad habits (drinking caffeine, eating processed foods, eating out a TON, and not taking my vitamins) out of anger. I did everything above and beyond what I should before and during the time I was pregnant. I even gave up coffee TOTALLY, caffeinated and decaffeinated. Anyway, I will post more in the weeks to come about getting back to healthy eating. Until then here is what we will be eating this week.
This is probably B's last week home before he leaves for flight school, so we are having all his favorite meals this week. We went to Ft. Riley today to get things taken care of before he leaves for flight school, so today was all about eating out!
Lunch: Charlie's Steakery (my favorite place to eat at Ft. Riley!)
Dinner: Little Ceasars Pizza
Dinner: Mac & Cheese (recipe to follow later this week)
Dinner: Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup
Dinner: Waffles & Pattie Sausage
Dinner: Taco Salad
Dinner: Grilled Hamburgers, Potato Salad, Baked Beans
Earth Day Challenges will begin again tomorrow, this weekend was crazy trying to get things ready for B to leave.
