I'm linking up with I'm an Organized Junkie for Menu Plan Monday. Check it out here for more Menu Plan Mondays.
This weekend we finished getting our living room, kitchen, and bedroom settled enough to make it feel like home. The only rooms we have left to get organized and completely unpacked is Brenden's office, master bath (which will be B's bathroom), and my craft things which will be the other half of my office! I will post pictures soon to give you all a tour of our new digs.
So with that quick catch up, we are FINALLY settled enough to actually cook at home and have a menu planned for an entire week! It has felt like forever since I have planned a menu and gone to the grocery store for something other then milk or cereal. This weekend I had my first haircut with a new stylist (more on that in a later post) so while I was in Dothan I went to Barnes And Nobles to plan my menu while enjoying a Vanilla Latte and then to Publix for grocery shopping. I loved Publix! The employees are extremely helpful and do not act like they would rather be on the street begging for money like some grocery stores I have been to in the past.
Anyway, enough chatting, on with my menu plan for the week.
Sunday Dinner: Macaroni & Cheese with Ham. This recipe I found on Food Network and is one of Rachel Ray's recipe. We love this recipe! See below for recipe and pictures.
Monday Dinner: Cheeburger Cheeburger This is the best burger place I have eaten at! They use fresh (never frozen) ground beef, no hormones, no additives, and no antibiotics. They also make the greatest onion rings and fries. They taste like they are homemade fresh out of the kitchen at home.
Tuesday Dinner: Grilled Chicken Quesadillas with Black Beans and Corn
Tossed Salad
Wednesday Dinner: Pioneer Woman BBQ Meatballs
Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Green Beans
Thursday Dinner: Friend coming over so not sure what we are having, probably Fajitas or Tacos
Friday Dinner: Hobos cooked over the grill. I love this meal because Brenden can have all meat in his and I can have all vegetables in mine.
Saturday: Spaghetti & Meatballs. Fresh Steams Green Beans. Tossed Salad.
What are you having for dinner this week?
Til' next time,
