What I Wore Wednesday

I'm linking up today over at The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday. I follow several blogs that link to this every week and always thought it would be fun to do, but had no motivation to get it done.  Now that I am working from home I don't get to dress up in all my fun work clothes.  Those clothes have been put in the back of my closet and my fun heels in the top of my closet (they we are patiently impatiently waiting for my first trip back to KS or CO for work). Sorry, but I LOVE.MY.HEELS!  Anyway, since I now have the privilege of wearing shorts and t-shirts everyday to work in I think this will be great motivation to put fun summer outfits together and wear something besides comfy clothes few times a week. 

The shorts are purchased before moving to AL since I knew I could not wear jeans in this weather!  After graduating from college I just stopped wearing shorts. I have no idea why, I just did.  Before moving I was warned that I needed to wear shorts in AL, jeans would not work.  Now that I am wearing shorts again I have no idea how I wore jeans in the KS heat!

Purse/Market Bag--Sweet Sugar Beet (I just received this last week, I got it for a great buy since I was the first to comment to one of her FB posts!)  Don't you love it?!?!?!

You will notice I have no jewelry on, which is weird as I usually wear at least earrings.  Unfortunately we are still not unpacked and my jewelry is one of the items!  I hope next week I can show off some of my jewelery.
