The weekend is starting out to be wonderful. B is playing golf today with some friends so I enjoyed the morning at a local coffee shop. I don't have to run errands this weekend so I get to enjoy being around the house. Here are a few things I have found that I wanted to share with you.
I love watching Ted Talk videos and now they have some on Netflix so I can enjoy them on the TV. Do you enjoy watching these?
Brene Brown has a Ted Talk on shame. If you have an extra 20 minutes check out her first Ted Talk on vulnerability that she refers to in her talk on shame. I have always struggled with being vulnerable and open with people, so these really spoke to me. It is definitely worth your time to watch.
Modern Alternative Mama has a great post on 10 Items You Shouldn't Buy at the Store. These are some of the first things we stopped buying as we transitioned to "real food".
Since the weather is definitely warming up these are some great ideas to make your water more interesting to drink. You should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water everyday. That sounds like a lot of water, but once you are used to drinking that much water you will miss it if you go a day not drinking much water.
Seasonal allergies are in full swing. Here in the south the pollen is EVERYWHERE. The healthy Home Economist has a great article:: Pollen is Not the Problem

Most people probably do not know this about me, but I LOVE drinking out of mason jars. Problem is that they do not travel well so I can never take them as my "to go" beverage container. Well that problem is now solved with these. We have really expensive glasses that we received as a wedding present. If I'm grabbing a glass out of our cabinet I always go for the mason jar over those expensive glasses! This is definitely on my wish list or maybe someone wants to surprise me with a small gift....just kiddin' (maybe)?!?!
