Weekend Wanderings 7.8.12

Hope you have enjoyed your weekend.  So far we have gone to garage sales, drive in movies with friends, eaten at Cheeburger Cheeburger, and we are heading to the pool later this afternoon.  Oh, and how could I forget, I enjoyed a Starbucks Vanilla Latte!

Here are some links to check out in your free time this weekend.   Enjoy!

Can We Eat to Starve Cancer: Dr. William Li speaks at Ted and is worth the time to watch it.

Here is Dr. William Li's list of Antiangiogenic Foods. (check out video to understand these foods)

What You Can Find While You're Waiting on Friends. Great article!

Lost For Words Card Line.  Beautiful cards for life's tough situations.  I found this site when I was going through one of my miscarriages and decided to bookmark it in case I needed to send a card to someone.  Going through 4 miscarriages and 1 tubal pregnancy I can say that no words will heal the pain and heartache, but getting cards during those times brought me joy.  Those cards will be cherished forever.  Know someone going through a loss? Take a look and order a few!

8 Ways You Can Avoid Chemicals In A Can. This article is a few months old but still has great information and ideas.  Have you heard about BPA?  If not, check it out and try to avoid it.  If I can find a product that is sold in glass instead of a can I spend the extra money to get the glass jar.  Then after I have used the product I can reuse the jar for something else.

Bible Verse Printables.  I need to print some of these for my office!

I'm Sexy and I know It Parody.  You have to watch this if you haven't seen it yet.  Way to go KS boys!

4 Inexpensive Ways to Organize Scarfs.  Mine are a mess right now so I think I need to use one of these ideas!

See ya Monday for Menu Plan Monday.  Have you planned your menu yet? What have you done this weekend?  Next weekend I'm hoping to go to Florida, cant wait!

Til' next time,
