I want you to know.... {Day 30}

Day 30:  Your Grief--Tell The World

I can not believe my Capture Your Grief journey is coming to an end! Thank you for joining me on this journey as I work towards processing my grief and sharing my heart with you.  I hope if you have been through infant or pregnancy loss I have helped you be strong enough to share your own grief with someone, even though it can be tough at times.

Today's topic is what I want the world to know about my grief.  I have been sharing bits and pieces of my grief all month, but there are several things I hope you take away from this project so you can help end the silence of such a tough issue.

Throughout this month I have been thinking about what I can do to help others who have gone through miscarriages.  If you have been through a miscarriage, I would love for you to share with me what would have helped you the most during the miscarriage and grief that followed. Feel free to email me or send me a Facebook message.

My story does not end tomorrow even though the project is ending.  We are still in the middle of trying to grow our family.  We do not know what the future holds for us, but we hope it includes kids.  It may not be how the "traditional" family starts a family, but we are slowly coming to terms with this fact and hope one day we have family pictures that have little ones.  I will continue to share with you our story and we hope to one day have good news to share!

Til' next time,

  2. Such powerful words! I've never had a miscarriage, but infertility has been a similar struggle- being around other babies, pregnant moms, showers, etc... it's so difficult. Before experiencing it, I had no idea how common or how painful it can be. Hugs!
