Virtual Coffee 7.4.12

Happy 4th of July! I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day with family and friends. I'm excited to be meeting with all of you again for virtual coffee, especially since I can drink coffee again! I completed my 30 day Get Fit Program through Arbonne yesterday and celebrated with a vanilla latte.  So go ahead and grab your favorite beverage so we can chat over drinks.

I have to share with you what I received from the Handmade Gift Exchange.  Jen sent me a wonderful package that I LOVE!  She did a great job picking things that I would like and enjoy.  In the picture above you can see the Cozy I received from her. For a girl that drinks coffee all the time I never invested in a reusable coffee cozy.  So I was so excited to see that I received this from Jen.  I love the material and it worked great yesterday with my Starbucks Vanilla Latte.  Yummy....

Look at what else I received from her!  

She figured out I like coffee and made me a fun coffee banner.  This is already hanging in my kitchen and it makes me smile every time I walk by it.

She also made me a fun zippered pouch (on the left) which I plan to use in my purse to help organize it!    On the right is a business card holder which will come in very handy for my blog/Etsy business cards (as soon as I get the store open) and my business cards for the Hollyday Bazaar I am co-chairing for the spouses club.

Yesterday was Freedom Fest here at Fort Rucker.  It is an event with any kind of fried food you could imagine, music, and fireworks.  We had a thunder storm roll in yesterday afternoon so activities were a little delayed.  We sat down with some friends to eat under a tent while waiting for the entertainment to begin.

I decided to get a Bloomin' onion for my dinner. It was huge so we ended up sharing it.  For dessert we all shared funnel cake and fried oreos.  Wow!  We had a great time, but a very late night.  I don't think I got to bed till 12:30 or 1 last night, which is VERY late for me!
